📣📣📣 Good news for those who speak Arabic and want to study Shariah at the Islamic university for free (Bachelor degree online studies)!
🔥 The Islamic University in Medina announced a few days ago the provision of 100 fully paid scholarships to study online a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia.
📆Application periond ends on December 14 (Thursday, which is the last day they will accept applications), 2023!
🔜 Results will be published soon inshaAllah as the study starts on January 14!
‼️ There are no restrictions on the gender and age of the applicant (women can also apply)!
📌 The program is for international students residing outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
ℹ️Application requirements:
1- The applicant cannot be a Saudi citizen or a resident of Saudi Arabia.
2- Complete proficiency in Arabic, both spoken and written, because the study is fully in Arabic.
2- Obtaining an accredited qualification of no less than a high school diploma or its equivalent.
3- The ability to study online and communicate via the Internet.
4- Pay a non-refundable amount of 200 riyals for the application fee.
🔼Scholarship Benefits:
1- Full costs paid: 35 thousand riyals, equivalent to 9.5 thousand dollars
2- The duration of study is 4 years.
3- Weekly direct meetings with course teachers to explain the material and ask them questions.
4- Obtaining a bachelor’s degree accredited by the Islamic University after completing studies and graduation.
5- Meet good friends from all over the world who share the same goal of seeking knowledge.
📄Required documents:
1- Passport (main page)
2- High school diploma (with the translation)
3- Transcript of grades (it's best to be provided with the translation)
4- Certificate of no criminal record (it's best to be provided with the translation)
5- Color photo 4×6, passport type on a white backgruond (it is better to go to a photo studio and take a good quality photo)
6- Recommendation letters (tazkiyah, one is enough, but you can provide more than one) from Islamic figures (imam of the masjid, Arabic teachers, students of Saudi universities); Mutun / Ijaza certificate (these are certificates for memorizing Islamic texts or covering Islamic books like Usool Al Fiqh with madinah college in your case); CV (including what volunteer activities you have done)
✔️Advice for applicants based on my experience as a student at the university:
The university will nominate only 100 students, here is what will strengthen your nomination application inshaAllah:
1- Try to list all the certificates you have obtained and the recommendations from Islamic figures you have.
2- Try to add any community services you have provided.
3- If you have certificates for courses you attended via e-learning, attach them to the application.
4- If you have a certificate in memorizing the Qur’an or parts of it or attending courses in Sharia courses, attach it to the application.
5- If you have a CV, attach it to the application.
6- If you work in an institution that provides services to the community, a school, an educational center, a judge, a preacher, or other jobs that serve the community, try to provide documents that proves that.
🔔 And remember that for this format of study it is necessary to have the ability to commit to e-learning through the website, attend lessons and submit assignments for the subject.
