A reminder to myself first and formost!
Times and times again i am reminded by such posts that rasing righteous kids is not about setting rules in the house. Telling them to do this or not to do that.
It is about making them fall in love with Islam, with sunnah and with the prophet. It is the parents duty to learn the deen and live accordingly.
The best nation, the sahaba, had both knowledge and action. In our times, the knowledgeable ones dont act upon it and the ones who act do so without knowledge.
May allah help us attain beneficial knowledge and help us act upon it. May allah help us raise righteous kids...ameen
