The moon is bright, the stars shine high,
Ramadan is here, the days go by.
A month of peace, a month to pray,
A time to give, a time to stay.
We fast from morning until almost night,
No food, no drink, but hearts feel light.
With every prayer, we grow so strong,
We ask for good, we leave the wrong.
A kind word spreads, a smile stays,
We help the poor in many ways.
Forgiveness comes, the heart feels free,
A time of joy for you and me.
