It is narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he said:
“Everything has a foundation, and the foundation of a person’s deeds is his intellect. According to the measure of his intellect, so will be his worship of his Lord. Have you not heard the words of the sinners:
‘If only we had listened or used reason, we would not be among the inhabitants of the Blaze.’”
(Surah Al-Mulk, 67:10)
