يُقَلِّبُ اللَّهُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّأُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ
(سورة النور 24:44)
عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَا أَن يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْرًا مِّنْهَا إِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا رَاغِبُونَ
(سورة القلم 68:32)

O Muslim Brothers & Sisters!, we have left behind a year whose hours passed swiftly and whose moments followed one another as if a fleeting phantom or a guest who visited and then departed. In welcoming a new year and seeing off another, there is a reminder for the contemplative and a lesson for the thoughtful…
“Allah turns the night and the day; indeed in that is a lesson for those with insight.”
(Quran 24:44)
“Perhaps our Lord will give us [something] better than it; indeed, to our Lord we turn in hope.” (Quran 68:32)
