Finland’s University of Helsinki has suspended all student exchange programmes with Israeli institutions, according to Yle News.
The university made this decision as a result of the “catastrophic deterioration” of the humanitarian situation due to Israel’s war on Gaza.
The university went further to emphasise that it is ready to help rebuild Gaza’s higher education and research system once it becomes possible.
