Treating us like animals’, Gaza residents say
Writer Yousri al Ghoul says since the war began, life for the people of Gaza has come to a complete halt.
“There are air raids everyday. We can’t sleep or eat,” the writer from Beach refugee camp, also known as Al Shati camp, told Al Jazeera. “We have no fuel, no electricity. We can’t even go to the bathrooms.”
“There are treating us like we are animals,” he added. “And the world is silent. The US is giving Israel legitimacy to do whatever they want to Palestinians.”
“This is collective punishment. Everything is being targeted.”
