Jumu'ah Mubarak! 🕊️
Today is the fourth Friday of Ramadan — a bittersweet moment. Our hearts are full, but our days are few. The blessed month is slowly preparing to leave us. We are in the last ten nights. The nights that are better than a thousand months. The nights when the doors of mercy are wide open, and the Decree of the year is written.
Allah swears by these nights:
"By the dawn, and by the ten nights..."— Surah Al-Fajr (89:1-2).
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Seek Laylatul Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan."— (Bukhari & Muslim)
And when the last ten nights began, the Prophet ﷺ would, stay awake in worship, wake his family and tie his izaar (devote himself completely)
This Jumu'ah, ask yourself have I truly sought Laylatul Qadr?, have I cried to Allah in the depths of the night?, have I forgiven others so that I may be forgiven
Don't let these nights slip away.
Start tonight:
🤲 Make a list of du'as — for yourself, your family, the Ummah
📖 Read Qur'an with meaning — even a few verses with reflection
💧 Pray Tahajjud — stand before Allah when the world sleeps
💰 Give charity — even a date, even a smile
O Allah, we have reached the last ten. Don't let us leave this world without tasting the sweetness of Laylatul Qadr. Forgive us, have mercy on us, and accept our humble efforts. 🤲
Jumu'ah Mubarak.
