Jumu\'ah Mubarak! 🕊️
Today marks the second Friday of Ramadan — a blessed day in a blessed month. As we gather for Jumu\'ah, our hearts are fasting, our souls are yearning, and our prayers are rising.
Allah says in the Qur\'an:
"O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous."
— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:183)
Fasting isn\'t just about hunger — it\'s about taqwa — consciousness of Allah.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and hope for reward, his previous sins will be forgiven."
— (Bukhari & Muslim)
And in another hadith:
"When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained."
— (Bukhari & Muslim)
Let this second Jumu\'ah of Ramadan be a turning point. Renew your intention. Seek forgiveness. Give charity. Make du\'a for the Ummah.
May Allah accept our fasting, our prayers, and our repentance. 🤲
