In 2021, Belarus shut down 200+ Western-backed NGOs, labeling them as tools of foreign interference. USAID, the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), and other groups were caught funding opposition movements, training activists, and attempting to manufacture another Color Revolution—just like in Ukraine.
USAID and NED poured over $200M into Belarus from 2011 to 2021, funding opposition media like Belsat and “Activist training” programs modeled after Color Revolutions.
