In ancient times, marketplaces were lively centers not only for trade but also for news, entertainment, debate, and social gatherings, often drawing people’s focus to worldly matters and away from worship.
Today, this concept of the “marketplace” extends beyond physical spaces. Social media, virtual platforms, and other digital arenas serve similar roles, distracting people in much the same way. And Allah knows best.
