My learning and memorizing of surahs is slowing, but that is because I'm also learning Arabic and arab writing. I am slowly refraining from using phonetics and starting reading directly from Qur'an.

today I learned An-Nas surah with the help of a brother. I'm trying not only to memorize phonetics, but also written words. insha'Allah, I will also learn arabic to understand the Word of God and my brothers from other countries.

I did shahada on march 15, 2025, and since then I have memorized some surahs: Al Fatiha, Al Asr, Al Kafirun, Al Kauthar, Al Ikhlas and recently, Al Falaq. My pronunciation is not perfect since my mother tongue is not arabic; but insha'Allah I will get the skills to do so.
